We are looking for an Associate Content Operations Manager based in Singapore to join our distributed team. The Content Provider Operations (CPO) team at Spotify is responsible for handling the operations of our content providers and ensuring content is live as intended to be experienced by Spotify’s users, supporting ingestion, curation and technical support. The team collaborates cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Licensing, Commercial Partnerships, Trust & Safety, Customer/Creator Support, and other teams to develop effective and scalable solutions and initiatives. The focus of this role will be to chip in to the team’s core responsibilities. We currently have a presence in Singapore, Mumbai, Dubai, Dublin, London, Helsinki, Austin, New York, and Los Angeles that enables our Distributed Team coverage.
What You'll Do
Review & process a variety of sophisticated incoming requests
Troubleshoot ingestion and curation related issues and assess findings, solutions with a variety of internal and external partners
Support the team with case research and information gathering
Liaise with our content providers, and internal teams
Work cross-functionally with a range of teams at Spotify including our Artist & Label teams, Tech, Legal, Licensing, and others
Chip in to improving processes, and documentation regarding the handling of infringement claims
Support the team completing initiatives Who You Are
You are proficient in English
You have experience working in customer relationship management tools (e.g. Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.)
You have at least 2 years of experience in the music and/or podcast industry and/or have experience working with digital service providers, or experience in operations in a large scale technology company
You have previous experience working following operating guidelines, policy enforcement, SOPs and other operational framework. Familiarity on DDEX, Metadata Management, RSS feeds or similar content ingestion guidelines is a plus but not required
You have an understanding or eagerness to learn music, podcasts and technology
You have excellent communication skills and can follow workflows and processes diligently
You are able to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently, and can adapt to change
You are motivated to continuously improve work methods
You have the capacity to contribute to internal initiatives with attention to details, capacity to build and upkeep documentation (i.e. SOPs)
You are adaptable and quick to learn in a changing environment
You become comfortable with asynchronous and global workflows
