This role will work across various key capabilities within SugarCRM, supporting platform-wide innovations in areas such as workflow automation, customer engagement, analytics, and integrations.

As a cross-functional leader, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and our customers to define and deliver high-impact features that drive customer retention, business growth, and platform stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership & Execution
  • Own, create, and maintain the product roadmap for core CRM capabilities, ensuring alignment with SugarCRM’s strategic focus areas, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Drive roadmap transparency and alignment across internal teams by effectively communicating priorities, progress, and trade-offs.
  • Ensure that all prioritized initiatives are clearly justified through the lens of customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Planning & Agile Execution
  • Lead planning efforts in parallel with execution, ensuring that long-term vision and near-term deliverables remain synchronized.
  • Partner with Engineering and UX to develop, scope, and prioritize features that balance innovation, customer needs, and platform scalability.
  • Manage an evolving backlog of features, enhancements, and technical improvements, balancing strategic bets with quick wins.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from discovery and validation through delivery and post-launch iteration.
  • Drive agile execution, ensuring features are well-defined, prioritized, and delivered efficiently with high quality.
  • Customer & Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize customer insights, ensuring features address real pain points and deliver meaningful improvements.
  • Define and track key success metrics (KPIs), leveraging data to inform prioritization and roadmap adjustments.
  • Regularly engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to validate product assumptions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
  • Align and collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering) to drive seamless execution and market adoption.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on core CRM capabilities, supporting internal teams with product knowledge, training, and messaging.
  • Advocate for continuous process improvement, helping the product development organization optimize efficiency and collaboration.
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of successfully shipping B2B SaaS products.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, customer engagement tools, or workflow automation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of product roadmap development, prioritization frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW), and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategy with near-term execution, ensuring continuous product progress while adapting to changing needs.
  • Experience with analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sugar Discover) is a strong plus.
  • Strong technical acumen, including familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data models.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • - Expected monthly NET salary range, depending on experience.
