Summary

As the Website Strategy Lead, you will work with the Sr. Director Web Strategy on defining and executing the UX/UI strategy for our websites. You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our website experience. You will work closely with the Website Development Lead to ensure seamless integration of design and development, creating user-centered and visually compelling online experiences. You will be the advocate for the user, ensuring that our websites meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

How will you contribute?

UX/UI Strategy and Design:

Implement a comprehensive UX/UI strategy aligned with business goals.

Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs and behaviors.

Create user personas, user flows, and wireframes.

Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Develop and maintain design systems and style guides.

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve user experience.

Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends and best practices.

Visual Design and Branding:

Ensure consistent visual branding across all website properties.

Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.

Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to maintain brand consistency.

Manage and maintain design assets.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with the Website Development Lead to ensure seamless integration of design and development.

Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders.

Provide design feedback and guidance to the development team.

Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders.

User Research and Analysis:

Analyze website analytics and user behavior data.

Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize user experience.

Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Web Content Strategy & Management

Manage the content lifecycle for the website, ensuring all pages remain relevant, engaging, and aligned with marketing goals.

Maintain and update website content for accuracy, compliance

Ensure content consistency, readability, and accessibility across all website pages.

Identify opportunities and a process for content updates to improve performance and engagement.

Collaboration & Workflow Management

Coordinate with designers and developers to implement content updates that enhance the user experience.

Identify and implement conversion rate optimization CRO) strategies to improve lead generation.

What will you bring?

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.

Proven experience as a UX/UI designer or strategist.

Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design skills.

Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience with user research and usability testing.

Knowledge of front-end development technologies is a plus.

The above base salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process.

The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training. Local cost of living assessments are done for each new hire at the time of offer.
