Lab49 is seeking an Executive-level DevSecOps Leaderto drive enterprise-wide security, automation, and compliance across cloud-native and on-premises software development environments. This role requires avisionary technology leaderwho has a proven track record of leadingenterprise transformationsand devising target-state enterprise architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise incloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and security strategy, particularly within the financial services industry. You will work closely withsenior leadershipto define and implement a transformative vision, ensuring the secure, scalable, and high-performance delivery of systems in highly regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
Define the Enterprise DevSecOps Vision:Collaborate withsenior leadershipto define the target-state enterprise vision for DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure automation, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
Develop and Lead Enterprise Transformation:Drive theenterprise transformationprocess by developing strategies forcloud adoption, data center modernization, andtechnology-driven business innovationsacross financial services.
Strategic DevSecOps Leadership:Formulate and execute theenterprise DevSecOps strategy, integrating security practices seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and development operations.
Cloud Security & Regulatory Compliance Leadership:Oversee the implementation of security automation, vulnerability scanning, and compliance monitoring while ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks such asISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR.
AI/ML & GenAI Integration:Lead the implementation ofAI/ML initiatives, particularly in the realm ofGenAI innovationandMLOpswithin regulated financial environments.
Security Architecture & Risk Management:Providesenior-level leadershipinidentity and security architecture, specializing incryptographic enablement, IAM automation, andmulti-party computation infrastructure.
Cross-functional Leadership:Partner with platform, security, development, and operations teams to drive security automation, DevSecOps adoption, and architectural improvements across the organization.
Digital Transformation & Risk Mitigation:Leaddigital transformation initiativesacross insurance, banking, and asset management sectors, focusing onrisk management, regulatory compliance, andtechnology innovation.
Tool & Framework Adoption:Drive the adoption ofcutting-edge security tools,automation frameworks, andindustry-leading practicesto improve security and DevSecOps capabilities across the organization. Requirements:
Senior Technology Leadership:10+ years ofsenior leadership experiencein security engineering, cloud security, DevSecOps, orenterprise architecturewithin high-performance technology environments.
Cloud Expertise:Extensive experience withcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP) andenterprise cloud architecture, includingdata center modernizationandcloud migrationfor financial services.
AI/ML Expertise:Proven experience in drivingAI/ML innovation, includingGenAI, MLOps, andmachine learning initiatives, particularly within regulated environments.
Security Architecture Expertise:Deep knowledge ofidentity and security architecture,cryptography,IAM automation, andmulti-party computation.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:Strong understanding ofregulatory compliancein financial services and capital markets, with a focus on security frameworks (e.g.,SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
Engineering & Cloud Security:Expertise in engineering and security disciplines includingDevOps,DevSecOps,platform engineering,containerization(Kubernetes, Docker),microservices, andcloud security.
Technical Proficiency:Expertise ininfrastructure as code(Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible),security tooling(SAST, DAST, SIEM), andscripting(Python, Go, Bash).
Risk Management & Threat Mitigation:Strong track record of leading proactiverisk management,threat modeling, andmitigation effortswithin highly regulated sectors such as financial services. Desired Skills:
