We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our Information Security team. We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst - Technology Security who will be responsible for ensuring the security of all technology components within the Vendavo environment. This includes administering and optimizing security tools and technologies, providing training and guidance to junior team members, and maintaining expertise in various security domains such as endpoint, network, cloud infrastructure, and identity management. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with a range of security products and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Security Administration and Optimization:
Administer and optimize security tools and technologies such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Qualys, Tanium, Snyk, Veracode, PaloAlto, Intune, Microsoft AD, JumpCloud, and Jamf.
Ensure the effective use of these tools to enhance security posture across the Vendavo environment.
Training and Guidance:
Train and guide junior team members on the capabilities and best practices of security tools and technologies.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Security Domains Expertise:
Provide expertise in Endpoint Security, ensuring all endpoints are protected against threats.
Manage Network Security by configuring firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and ensuring network segmentation.
Oversee SaaS Security by implementing security controls for cloud-based applications.
Ensure Cloud Infrastructure Security by configuring and monitoring cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Maintain OnPrem Infrastructure Security by securing on-premises servers and data centers.
Conduct Threat & Vulnerability Management to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
Implement Attack Surface Management to reduce the organization's attack surface.
Conduct Dark Web Monitoring to detect potential threats.
Manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) to ensure compliance and security.
Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to control access.
Oversee Device Management to ensure all devices are secure and compliant.
Incident Response and Compliance:
Participate in incident response activities to mitigate security breaches.
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to strategic planning for security initiatives and projects.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to recommend improvements.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular security reports for management.
Maintain detailed documentation of security procedures and policies. THE SKILL SET
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in technology security, with a focus on managing security tools and technologies across various environments.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CC, SSCP, CISSP, or CEH are preferred.
Hands-on experience: Security tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Qualys, Tanium, Snyk, Veracode, PaloAlto,Intune, Microsoft AD, JumpCloud, and Jamf.
Hands-on experience: Cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in creating and presenting reports.
