Deeply passionate about Ontic’s brand vision and values: Do Good Above All, Raise the Bar, Leading with Empathy, Walk the Walk and Keep Moving.As Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of our India office collaborating closely with the Finance and Accounting teams at Ontic Corporate. Your primary responsibilities will include accounting and month end close, financial planning and analysis, budget management, compliance, and ensuring accurate financial reporting both internally and externally. You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic insights, driving efficiency, and supporting business growth. This role will be based in the Ontic India office in Noida.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis : Prepare forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Business partner with the FP&A with the global as a liaison for Ontic India Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Manage the Financial operating model including cash flow, balance sheet and income statement forecasts, and all related inputs.
Accounting & Financial Reporting: Manage accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Facilitate compliance with US GAAP by understanding and working with the Corporate accounting team. Ensure consistent local accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
Manage day to day financial operations in India including but not limited to accounts payable and expense report management.
Business parter with the People team to ensure accurate hiring and payroll execution and reporting.
Business parter with support organizations on Corporate policies including but not limited to lease guidelines, fixed assets and annual compliance certifications.
Budget Management: Monitor spending against historic trends and forecast expectations.
Provide monthly financial reports and analysis to the CFO, Accounting and FP&A teams.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive monitoring and strategic planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner closely with business leaders, providing financial guidance and insights.
Collaborate effectively with US-based finance and operations teams to align global financial processes. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) preferred.
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant finance experience (of accounting or FP&A experience, including full financial statement reporting, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting), ideally within SaaS or technology-driven companies.
Advanced data manipulation skills in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
Ability to report on and analyze the three financial statements.
Experience with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks Online)
Experience with a US based multi-national and strong understanding of accounting consolidationsStrong knowledge of US GAAP and local accounting standards.
Excellent proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting tools.
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with international teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information
